Caught up in London Life

It was brought to my attention by some blogger fans that I haven't update in FOREVER. Sorry guys, I've been having a BLAST in London.

I've been here for a month already. I feel like I know this place like the back of my hand, but I somehow find new things and places within the city every time I go out.
Some of the places that the girls and I go out to are The Sports Cafe (which has Pound Pints on Tuesday nights for students!!), O'Neils, and SugarReef. Usually we try to get there before the crazy 10 pound covers to get in. London night life is so expensive, but there are ways around it.

The first week in February, Jamie, Kasey, Jess, Sarah and I went on a weekend trip to Dublin. It was so much fun and VERY different from London. Of course, we went to Grafton St, Trinity College, Temple Bar, and the Guinness Factory. Above is a picture of all of us in the Gravity Bar (I obviously didn't get a Guinness - they taste like butt!) The city seemed smaller, dirtier, and WAY colder than London. Although we made some great (and somewhat embarrassing) memories, we were very ready to come back to our lovely city.

The weekend after that, a ton of Regents kids took a day trip to Bath. We walked through the Roman Baths and got to see plumbing that was over 2,000 years old and still functioning (Mr. Callan would've been very impressed!) After the tour, we all wandered around for 5 hours. Bath was a beautiful place, but we found it kind of boring. It was definitely an interesting place to visit. Here's a picture of me and all my girls in Bath!
Classes have been getting a little more challenging...aka I actually had to write papers this week and study for exams. Thank goodness I only have 2 exams and 2 papers in each of my classes. Once I'm done with these next few weeks, I don't have anything to do until finals. I wish UNH was like Regents...although their paper topics and instructions are very vague.

I've been doing really well with going out and seeing lots of shows, thanks to my Theater class. So far I've seen "Sound of Music" with my mom and Dee, "Chicago" with my mom, "The 39 Steps" with the UNH crew, and "Annie Get Your Gun" with my theater class. The next shows I'm going to see are: "Speed the Plow" with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldblum, "Cabaret", "Marilyn and Ella" a musical about Marilyn Monroe and my idol Ella Fitzgerald!!!, "Billie Elliot", "Wicked", and the new musical "Gone with the Wind". I'll let you know how they are!

I recently found out that my roommate Erica is coming to visit me in March! I'm so excited. I can't wait to show her around the city and have her meet my awesome friends here at Regents.

I'm going to Amsterdam this weekend with Jamie and Katlin. It probably wouldn't be appropriate to post my adventures here online. I plan on having a great time though!

My next travel plans are:
Canary Islands SPRING BREAK with the girls March 21st-28th,
Salzburg, Austria with Dee! April 4th-6th
Prague, Czech Rep. with the girls April 11th-14th
Edinburgh, Scotland with Regents kids April 18th-20th

After that, I have finals then a week to hang out around London with Dee and Bobby before Shawn finally comes to visit!

I only have about 3 months left here in London, so I'm trying to LIVE IT UP!

I'm so glad to see an update! Granted I basically know all that stuff already, but I'm still glad to hear you talk about it!
